Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want TutorKonnect to be fair for both tutors and parents. This policy explains when a subscription payment can be refunded or cancelled.

1. What you are paying for

Tutor subscriptions unlock the ability to appear in listings and receive enquiries from parents and students. They do not include or guarantee a specific number of leads, bookings or income.

2. 7-day refund window

New subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of the first payment, provided you have received fewer than 3 verified enquiries in that period. Write to support@tutorkonnect.app from the email on your account.

3. After 7 days

After the initial 7-day window, subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from Account → Subscription; your plan will stay active until the current billing period ends and will not renew.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If you are charged twice for the same plan or a payment is captured but your subscription is not activated, we will refund the extra amount in full within 5–10 business days after verification.

5. Coupons and discounts

Refunds on discounted plans are calculated on the amount actually paid, not the original list price. Coupons are single-use unless stated otherwise and cannot be reinstated after a refund.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact support first — most issues are resolved within 48 hours. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.

7. How to request a refund

  1. Email support@tutorkonnect.app from your registered address.
  2. Include your Razorpay Payment ID (visible on your receipt).
  3. Briefly describe the reason for the refund.

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
